We reached Nido (5,550m) after less than 3 hours. Still we were exhausted and hurried to put up the tents, so we could rest. Soon after we set up camp, clouds moved in and it started to snow. We received maybe 10 cm of snow. After the snow storm was over, a brutal wind set in. Over night I was afraid that the storm would rip the tent apart. The next day, it was brutally cold, -25C, -10F and a strong wind was blowing. Our guides decided that there is no way to go on while the wind is so high and the temperatures so low.
